Our Mission
The Midwest Investment Club (MIC – pronounced “Mike”) is devoted to helping real estate investors reach their potential by offering networking opportunities, educational opportunities, and investment opportunities. Club members can take advantage of two tracks, depending on their interests. Our single family track focuses on hands-on investments such as single-family properties, flips, foreclosures, duplexes, new construction, condo conversions, smaller multifamily properties, and other real estate investments that require more hands-on ownership. Our commercial track focuses on commercial real estate investing – i.e. multifamily, retail, warehouse, industrial, and office properties – that have an economy of scale and/or lease terms that allow them to be managed by a management company in a cost-effective manner to create a hands-off, passive-income investment. Members are not limited to one track and are encouraged to attend both tracks for the learning opportunities, the networking opportunities, and the mentoring opportunities.
You can get involved with MIC right away by signing up to receive club emails. Just click on the box at the bottom of the page. You may also use the club forum to discuss real estate topics or to post real estate related wants or needs.
MIC meets at 7:00 p.m. on The First Thursday and the 3rd wednesday per month. the Meetings are held at the Bourbon Street Grill 6308 Metropolian place in Monona. Each meeting will feature a speaker and a topic relevant to real estate investors. We send out several emails prior to meetings, so if you are on our email list you'll know when meetings are held. You can also check the club website for a club calendar.
Membership dues are $50 per year on a calendar basis. Non-members may attend meetings for $10.00 per meeting. The club does not accept credit cards for payment.
